Description
- Flow Form: Pressure is applied to the inner wheel after casting. The pressure stretches and forms the material causing the aluminum to flow, imparting tensile strength similar to forged wheels. (These wheels are not forged). But the result of the process is greater strength and shock resistance over conventional cast wheels, which subsequently translate into better vehicle performance.
- As an example, our 22×12 wheel was cast as a 22×8, then put through the Flow Form process; pressure and stretching, the final product is a lighter 22×12 wheel.
