Description
This kit has all the necessary parts for performing an oil change on your water cooled R1200 and R1250. Kit includes:
- 4 quarts of Genuine BMW motor oil – Don’t settle for other oil just because “it costs less”. BMW special performance oils meet all of the demanding requirements of precision BMW motorcycle engines. Provides outstanding wear, rust, corrosion, and oxidation protection, and will stay in grade under severs loads at all operating conditions. BMW’s SAE 5W40 Advantec Ultimate Full Synthetic Engine Oil is the recommended oil for the new water cooled R1200 and R1250 models.
- OEM OR HIGHFLO Oil Filter – Helps keep your oil free of debris and other particles that may be inside of your motor. This isn’t a knockoff filter, it’s a Genuine BMW part.
- OEM Crush washer for oil drain plug – It’s recommended to change this crush washer every time you change your oil. Failure to do so could result in oil seepage or leaks around the drain plug, or in severe cases stripping out the threads in the motor, creating a much bigger problem.
